Casey & Ben’s Wedding at The Paseo Arizona

The Paseo Event Venue Arizona

Some weddings feel grounded from the start. Casey and Ben’s day at The Paseo was one of those.

They met freshman year at NAU and built their relationship around the outdoors, curiosity, and shared experiences. That sense of intention carried into their wedding day. Nothing felt forced or overly styled. They wanted something honest, timeless, and focused on connection.

Ben proposed at the top of Queen Victoria in Sedona during Casey’s first multi-pitch rock climb. The ring was something they designed together, and the proposal felt very much like them. That same energy shaped how they approached their wedding.

Rather than structuring the day around rigid timelines or staged moments, they focused on being present. Spending time with family. Letting moments unfold naturally.

The ceremony space at The Paseo frames the Superstition Mountains without overpowering the moment. The setting added to the experience without pulling attention away from what mattered most. The ceremony itself felt calm, intimate, and genuine.

As the evening moved into the reception, the space filled with conversation, music, and a full dance floor. Casey and Ben were fully engaged with their guests, and the night unfolded in a way that felt relaxed and unforced.

When I asked what they hoped to see in their photos 10–20 years from now, their answer was simple: “How much we love each other.”

That perspective guides how I photograph weddings. I focus on images that feel honest now and meaningful later, photographs that bring you back to how the day felt, not just how it looked.

Casey and Ben’s wedding was a good reminder that when connection comes first, everything else falls into place.
