Arizona Wedding Photographer

Originally from Navojoa, Sonora Mexico I moved to Phoenix Arizona with my family at the age of fifteen. By the age of nineteen I was done with school and in a successful rock band. Geared up with my bandmates (I’ll be sure to share a picture for your amusement), an old van, and our tour schedule for Mexico I had my whole life planned…or so I thought. My world was turned upside down when we discovered my mom had breast cancer. I learned just how precious life can be. I gave up my dream of being in a rock band for my mother’s health and never looked back.

So how in the world did I become a photographer!?! While working to help pay for my mother’s medical bills I decided to take a few community college classes, one of which happened to be a photography basics. After my mom finished Chemo (so blessed to report she’s been cancer free for 10 years) I moved to Vallarta, Mexico where I spent the next few years earning a degree in Multimedia Communications Engineering (fancy huh?) with an emphasis on photography. I also spent a year of that time studying abroad in England, be sure to check out my landscape hobby work in addition to my professional portfolio.

Currently I’ve been working in the Arizona since 2013 doing event photography such as weddings, South Asian and other multi cultural events, quinceañeras, baptisms, graduations, family shoots, and anything else that I have the fortunate pleasure to be involved in. I met my beautiful wife here and we had a wedding of our own. Our son was born in 2020, we have a fur baby as well (be sure to check out pics of our sweet Bella you won’t be able to keep yourself from smiling). I chose to do wedding photography because I understand how precious every moment we have with our loved ones is and how they should be cherished. If you want a photographer that is going to work your event as if it were my own family, then I’m your guy.

I knew two things as a child that I loved dinosaurs, traveling, and hopped those two would one day collide. I originally took a photography class to improve my travel photos and had no idea how much it would change my life direction. While weddings are my main passion these days I still travel and do landscape photography while I’m out and about.
