The Views at Superstition Weddings
Located in Gold Canyon with the Superstition Mountains in the background, The Views at Superstition brings together Arizona scenery and an elegant, comfortable setting for weddings.
I have been a preferred vendor at The Views at Superstition for many years, and the owners and staff have come to feel like family. They care deeply about the couples they work with, pay attention to the details, and do everything they can to make couples feel cared for throughout the planning process and on their wedding day.
One of the things I like most about the venue is how much it offers without making the wedding day feel complicated. Couples can get ready on-site, choose between a lake-view or desert-view ceremony setting, take portraits around the property, and continue into the reception in the indoor ballroom.
The mountains are a big part of what makes the venue special, but the water, greenery, desert scenery, viewing balcony, and indoor spaces also give us a good variety of backgrounds throughout the day.

Getting Ready at The Views
The separate getting-ready spaces allow both sides of the wedding party to prepare nearby while still having their own space.
Having everyone at the venue makes the beginning of the day easier and gives us more time to photograph details, time with family and friends, and the quieter moments before the ceremony.
It also helps the timeline move smoothly if the couple chooses to include a first look, wedding party portraits, or family photographs before the ceremony.
Ceremony and Portrait Locations
The Views gives couples the option to keep much of the wedding day centered in one location, which makes the experience easier for guests and helps the day flow naturally.
The surrounding mountain views and landscaped areas offer several nearby portrait locations without taking the couple away from their guests for too long.
For couples who want a stronger desert setting, Lost Dutchman State Park is also nearby and offers open views of the Superstition Mountains, saguaros, and the Arizona landscape. It requires additional travel and planning, but it can be a beautiful option when enough time is built into the schedule.
The Reception
The reception space feels warm and elegant, the large windows and balcony allow guests to enjoy the mountain views as the light changes, while the indoor space is perfect for dinner, speeches, and dancing later in the evening.
Photographing Weddings at The Views at Superstition
I have photographed several weddings at The Views at Superstition through the years, and I am familiar with the property, nearby locations, and the way the light changes around the mountains throughout the day.
That experience helps me plan portraits around the wedding schedule instead of allowing the photography to take over the day. I know where we can work efficiently, which locations are best at different times, and when it may be worth stepping outside for a few minutes as the light changes.
Wedding Videography at The Views
Video allows couples to experience the wedding day differently, preserving the movement, voices, and moments that photographs alone cannot fully capture. Because I am familiar with The Views, its layout, and the way events move through the property, my photography and video teams can work together smoothly without making the day feel crowded or overly directed. The result is a film that reflects the atmosphere of the venue, the energy, and the moments couples may not have noticed while everything was happening.
