My wife Heather and I got the opportunity to spend some time in Seattle visiting with friends and taking a break from the heat of Arizona. We were delighted at the opportunity to be a Seattle portrait photographer when Rich and Deva expressed interest in having a photoshoot.

Over the weekend Santiago Almada Photography had the pleasure of being a vendor and showcasing our work at the 10th annual DB Bridal Expo. Held at the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa, and hosted by Shy Khan with Weddings By Shy, the expo is said to be the largest South Asian Bridal Show in the West.

As the sun’s warm rays engulfed the morning of Shivani and Sagar’s wedding day, there was no doubt that it was going to be beautiful from the very beginning. Family and friends had gathered from all over to celebrate the couple’s special event in the beautiful desert city of Scottsdale. Indian weddings in Phoenix are always exciting, but when we saw the details that had gone into Shivani and Sagar’s preparations, there was no doubt it would be an event to remember! 

Sedona is one of our most prized destination wedding photography sites in Arizona. It’s a well known area to Arizona locals but not always known to visitors. There are so many breathtaking locations to choose from it’s always hard to narrow down the perfect spot for a wedding shoot.
